Being together (2014)

 

Being together is the most important thing

We come together, here and now, a family

Friends and neighbors, old and young, all as one

Were here together, a holiday, to spread our Love

 

So set another log on the fire

Stir those coals around,

The warmest part of the year

Is right now

 

For the snow and the wind and the ice and the rain

Can bring a lot of joy, if you make it through the pain

And what this time of year is all about

Is to enjoy the simple things, that you can not live without

 

So don’t worry about present or a gift you need to buy

For the greatest gift of all is to share some of your time

And the greatest gift in life, is to share with those you Love

And we all can share a part, of the warmness in our hearts

So deep, inside of us.

Its my favorite time of year, and I got that holiday feeling in bones

But theres nothing like the snow coming down on Christmas day

We light some candles, the sun goes down outside

The miracle of day, turning into night

And the Christmas lights they shine, just like the stars about

The candles burning bright, on the menorah

 

So wherever you are, wherever you may be

If the snows pourin down covering the street

I hope this year for Christmas or Chanukah

May your cup be full and overfilling, with Love.

 

The holidays come, but once a year and they pass away real soon

But the spirit of giving don’t have to fade, it can stay inside of you

Sometimes its easy to forget just how good it sometimes is

And the holidays bring such a simple joy, that simple joy to Live!

They say its going to snow

I don’t really know

Theres a full moon out tonight

And it sure is shining bright

For the clouds are moving fast

And the birds have mostly left

And its quiet, here in paradise

And im wishing for you,

Peace and comfort this year

And every year, till you die.

 

You might be across the world but your right here in my heart

Once a friend, always a friend and you’ve surely made your mark

Dark Christmas (2012)

 

Most Christmas songs are bright

Most holiday tunes are light

And I usually am,

But I’m not tonight

 

See theres so much struggle in this world

As I walk along the streets, I see people turn to ignore

The pain some must endure

And the war out there that we all play a part

Can we shatter it like glass, if we only use our hearts

For good, for Love?

 

That’s what Jesus did

Or so were told

It seems to be a noble cause

something worth dying for

And now I know, I need no presents anymore

 

It is true that we been blessed, far beyond we comprehend

If we open up our eyes, we might have a chance to repair

But some don’t have eyes so they need to use their hearts

And some don’t have legs so they need to use their arms

And we all are handicapped, in some way shape or form

But if we stop to open up our hearts, somehow we come reborn

 

That’s what Jesus did

Or so were told

It seems to be a noble cause and

something worth dying for

And now I know, I need no presents anymore

 

And the blood, and the bones, that are buried far beyond what the eyes can see

There’s a heart that’s beating, beat, beat, beat, beating for you and for me

And a brain, and a soul, and somehow it all knows, just where its supposed to go

And you celebrate this day, the miracle of Life that was given

And then taken away.
